HIV dating Is Like Any Other Dating
Once you learn that you are HIV positive, dating is definitely not the first thing you think about. But when you spend months and years living with the virus, you definitely start to imagine yourself dating again.
And if you think that HIV dating is impossible, you are wrong.
It took me three long years to go back to my normal life, get a new job, a place to live and friends that could understand me. But I was still afraid to date – I knew that I could protect my partner from the infection, but what if I fail?
I knew I had to date somebody who shares my destiny and lives the life with HIV, just like me. So, I took my chances and decided to check out HIV dating websites.
As soon as I started, I knew that I have made the right choice.
Almost all of the listed girls looked like angels to me – for the first couple of days, I was unable to decide which one should I contact. I narrowed my choice to three blondes.
Can you imagine my surprise when all three of them answered my emails?
My life is back on track again, and after coming home from work, I spend all of my free time chatting with them, sometimes simultaneously. To be honest, I haven't made up my mind yet, so I didn't set up any real-life dates.
I want to meet all of them first, take them to date and choose which one fits me the best. But the stress-free and safe environment, when I can talk openly about my virus, is something I definitely cannot find in any other online dating community.
